SaveQuest ("we", "us") helps you track spending, build savings habits, and reach financial goals. This policy explains what data we process and your choices.
Data we collect
- Account details: email and profile settings you provide at registration.
- App data: goals, habits, transaction classifications, coach preferences, and gamification progress.
- Bank data (optional): if you connect a bank, account and transaction data is retrieved via Enable Banking on your instruction. We do not receive or store your bank login credentials.
- Coach messages (optional): if you use the AI coach, message content may be sent to our language model provider to generate replies.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging.
How we use data
- Provide dashboards, analytics, streaks, challenges, and coaching features.
- Sync and display bank transactions you authorize.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run SaveQuest, including Enable Banking (open banking) and, when enabled, our AI coach provider. These processors act on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your data or delete your account from Settings at any time. Deletion removes your goals, transactions, and progress from our systems, subject to short backup retention where required for operations.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure handling of API credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
